Full Version: Making Dirs Like %windir%
I know there's a way, but I don't exactly know how again, so plz if some one know... lemme know

For Win 2k/XP
Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click System. On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables. Under System variables, click New. In the Variable Name box type the name for your variable, in the Variable Value box type your variable path, and then click OK.

That isn't right , I think. It have to be more like this: C:\Documents and Settings\nmcog>echo %hello% world you can use the Enviromental Variables in CMD, Batch File and so on but the variable have to be between two % Sry 4 bad english
the problem I ran into with creating ev. vars in command line is that they seem to disappear once the machine is rebooted. Oh and BTW, use set not echo @ psycode
