Full Version: Exchange Dos
billkennedy32
After looking at some default installations of exchange servers it
doesn't look good.

Say if your domain name is games.com and if some one sends an email to games@games.com this will send an email to every one of your users and say some one starts sending out a mass email bomb to that address, will you get the picture.

I'm sure this is old, but if any one has a fix for this please post.
Thanks

Dulok
My only guess is that you do the patches and updates...I just tried my Exchange server and it did not do it. Perhaps I modified domething on install however I doubt it since that was my first Exchange server install.

Sorry I don't have the exact fix...

Did it actually mail to all your users?

yes all of them, prety nuts. All patches are up2date.
Theses were on sbs2000

again if domain = abc.com then the email is abc@abc.com

Thanks for the info
