I need help posting input to a cgi file online...
im programming something in visual basic...

ill post my program so far, at the bottom of this post.

I want the username and password sent to a txt file on my site:
www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/name.txt - or whatever.
Using something like:
www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/cgifile.cgi

Here is my program so far:

simply have your VB prog GET a specially crafted URL that contains your info.
example: "http://www.myserver.com/cgi-bin/input.cgi?UserName+Password"

then have the CGI log all request string to a text file. if you search the forums this has been discussed before
