Well, i stopped using Serv-U after that exploit came out. Now that its fixed, i use Serv-U 6.* (latest version whenever they are released). But, to keep people from attempting exploits on my servers I edit the Serv-U exe to not do the FEAT command, which alot of things try to detect your server by. Then I compress it manually, change the servicename (because ServUDaemon is gay), and start it. I would only recomend doing this on your local machines though, and with a licensed ServUDaemon. right... biggrin.gif

with my serv-u i cant seem to connect through cmd on ao remte box says login error and its the right user/pass. ne ideas or do u need to use a ftp client to connect to it.

I use serv-u alot myself, but I should get to understand ioftp or shit like that cuz it's seems to be intresting, and verry nice ...

so .. One day i will take a look at it seriously, but till now .. Serv-u cuz even I understand that prog tongue.gif (it has to be simple then wink.gif)

Used to use Serv-U but now I am particular to ArGoSoft ftp server. It has very simple interface and enough features for my needs.
