I have used servu for a long time and really like it, for a lot of reasons. I also just installed (a few weeks ago) RaidenFTP.
I was having problems with people trying to FXP to my server when running servu, the transfers would hang, so a friend mentioned Raidenftp.
havent had a problem receiving FXP's while using Raiden.

I tried servu but found the features limited. did like raiden but couldnt change the main exe name. G6 is a pain for remote configuration.

GuildFTPd hasn't reached its touted 1.0 release for a long time - I found a few things not to like. BPFTP hasn't seen much development in awhile either. Serv-U I don't really like.
Any of you want something REALLY fast try RaidenFTPd, don't worry about their web site - the program is excellent - one of the few I've purchased a real license for. Users of Serv-U, WS_FTP Server 4.0 (*cough* can be found @ fosi.da.ru) leaves it for dead - both formidable programs.
