I've been messing with RH8 and installing apache with php support
(getting ready for the server upgrade tongue.gif )

But I ran into a problem with php not running. But I figured it out. By default the apache php module does not recognize mysql or short php headings.

To load mysql function you have to actually find the RPM on the 3rd install CD.

PHP handling is edited in php.ini

I hope this helps anyone else who is having a problem.
