Im wondering if anybody here has any programs that I can use with Internet Explorer or Netscape or even under Linux with Mozilla that would change through a list of proxies from a text file every so many seconds while you cruise through the Internet. If I cant find something like this I may start working on a program to do this. What im looking for is the ability to do HTTP scans or similar work without disclosing my location. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

IntelliTamper does http scans, it has a option for a proxy.

Instead of rotating proxies you can string them, proxyrama allows you to string proxies together.

I have both these programs installed, but have long lost the installer, otherwise would upload them.

There are programs that do this for every platform although the only app for windows that comes to mind offhand is multiproxy.

Most act as a proxy on your local machine which you set as the named proxy in your browser. They then redirect your outgoing requests via a cycling list of evaluated proxies. This would limit the chances of the hosting agent from detecting the scan but may not protect you from your own ISP.

If you're paranoid or have a draconian provider a better method would be to chain two proxies. The nearside proxy doesnt change (So, your ISP won't be as likely to detect a scan) but the second proxy would be chosen from a circular list, minimizing the number of identical hits felt by the hosting companies.

Any more proxies in the chain than this will just slow your scan without any real benefit IMO.

Myself i had issues with multiproxy and therefore stopped using it. But rapt0r if you are planning on coding an app do this I for one am very interested and look forward to seeing it started

If you're using ie, you can just proxy chain through the address bar. Or, just do my favorite route, use a terminal service smile.gif

You could do it with netcat... At least I think so... :-s

Set a batch script to read your IPlist.txt and for each IP have netcat redirect a connection from localhost to it. Set this script to run every, say, 10 minutes.

I might have a go at this later, though I'm a little busy right now.
