Command Line Proxy Server

i would like to setup a proxy on a machine. i would like something command line. something that will support irc proxyies and http proxies and this like that. multiple programs would be fine. thanks guys

i just tried mpx proxy. it works like a dream amd installs as a service if you want. search downloads for 'mpx proxy'
