I'm an admin and I try to start terminal service on my remote 2k server with ( net start termservice ) but i get this error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it."
Now my question. How can I start the devices via dos command?

If you have physical access enable it from the services screen, it may have been set to disabled. If not call somebody that has physical access to enable it.

I think you should create a bat file with registry entries to enable it. Or use another software like VNC and install TermService.

I created this reg file and convertet it to a .bat file but it still doesn't work for me.
Because the devices are enabled? :\

Maybe TermService doesn't exist on server?!I think you should use VNC, install terminal service and that's. Good Luck.

i use radmin to get remote desktop and then enable it from there

the problem is is that Remote Desktop (program u use for TS) doesnt like my socks4 proxy...any1 knows which type i need? I guess its socks 5, any1 got a socks5proxy-program for me so i can test and post my results here ?

Search the forum archives, this has been discussed and a way to remotely install TS via console created.

It doesn't matter if the ts files are needed. You just copy them over and place them in the inf directory in a folder called i386.
