Full Version: How To Setup Raiden Remotely?
Hey can anyone help me on installing Raiden remotely on a server. Like what files i have to upload, etc.
First download radmin and configure it (set password and ohter options). Then upload these files from ur radmin dir:
admdll.dll
raddrv.dll
radmin.exe (i would recommend changin the name)
Once uploaded, go to folder and type radmin.exe /install /silence
Then type radmin.exe /start
Once that is done just connection with radmin's remote proggie.

Raiden sucks ass... well that's what i think of Raiden
1. what about system service?? Yeah firedaemon [edited by digger]
2. how about making new users? You wanna be sure the admin finds out you're sucking on his desktop? hmm ok

Hi, do you have a nice Tut 4 this?
Its a extra Remote Connection Prog?
Or all inklude in Raiden?
What Plugins and Filters are good?
U have links 4 CRC check and so on?

HE wants to setup RAIDEN (its a ftp server) not radmin. Yes, i got this to work once to make a dump. just doesnt allow site exec and is very big in size and can be a resource hog.
it's customizable to allow site exec.
It's faster then Serv-U because of byte caching issue's, but overall is horrible with resources and as mofo said, hogs them.
use ioFTPd.

it does allow site exec commands now? hrm maybe cuz i used a older version

4 scripts look @ www.raidenftpd.com sektion:scripts there are alot of them with a nice desciption
but i wouldn't use it because the server admin will locate it very fast (if you're lucky some time later but that don't happen so often h3h3)
ioFTPd is the best solution but it's hard tó check out the configuration ..i think u should sart with raiden it's user friendly or read some BIGGG documentations about io

If you have 2 peanuts for a brain you can configure ioFTPd. That is the best solution, and the reason it is better is because 1) its the fastest FTPD available for Windows, period 2) Close to no resources used 3) Hell you can fake running a glftpd site with it 4) Excellent script support 5) No worries about any gui because there is none 6) We all hate pn.
To set it up just upload all the files then run as normal, then look into scripting section for getting imdb/dzsbot/p-zs working on your site, plus ioA for nukes etc and you are done.

My Englisch is not so good, and ioFTPd is so horrible heavy to learn without good englisch!
Can someone telll me more aboat ioftpd in german or in easy steps?
