I recently downloaded the ISO for FreeSBIE 1.1, a LiveCD based on FreeBSD. I have to say it's been pretty nice. The manual that comes with it is pretty to the concise and answers any questions that might pop up. Using Knoppix, etc. I've never been able to successfully save settings to my HD, this was as easy as point in click in FreeSBIE. One of their goals is to create a method for creating your own LiveCDs with whatever tools for specific tasks. Either way, it's a good look.
