I've never looked into email servers that are open to relaying email. So how does one locate a remailer or relay email server for smtp? Short of trying one email server at a time.
Thanks

try to send an e-mail from the server with an external domain and look the msg from the smtp server. If the send had been send there is an open relay else there isnt

There are software to search for them, like he said use google. "Open Relay Checker", is what to search. But they are hard to find! Youll need a good 24 hours of scanning to find just a few... There are also places to purchase them if you go that option.

A lot of the viruses which are made today are made by virus writers for profit, spammers pay them.
Look up information on a virus that opens up an SMTP server on a certain port, then simply just scan an IP Range looking for that port, although the SMTP server won't last long it will be completely anonymous, assuming of course you don't get stuck in a honeypot.

Those were the days when we used to search for specific country domain names like :cn
which used to have a lot of remailers / open relays.
It used to be so much fun.. and easy to never open outlook or any damn thing to send mail.
Just say
