This may seem like a stoopid question, but cant you just go into work and reboot? blink.gif

As far as I know, there isnt any procedure for remote rebooting. Your only option is to get a remote reboot switch which you can telnet into, but you would have to set it up on your computer, in which case you could just reboot it while your'e there! wacko.gif

Unless someone else has any ideas, thats all I can think of!

I was also looking for this and I was recommended Psshutdown. Its part of the pstools collection. It works on remote pc's too so all u need to know is the ip address, user name, and password...

So you just want to be able to reboot your system remotely?

Okay, first, head over to http://www.atstake.com/research/tools/netw...work_utilities/ and download Netcat. Download the appropriate one for your OS, and unpackage it.

'cd' to the directory where netcat is and type the following:

CODE

nc -l -p 1234 -e reboot

Replace 'reboot' in the command with the appropriate command that reboots the system on your OS. reboot is the correct command on Linux, and maybe windows NT?

Now, by running that command, you can now telnet into port 1234 of your system, and it will reboot, providing you ran it with the correct privileges.

Thank you for your time.
Shaun.

all opinios are quite interesting, but if you have console access you can just type
shutdown -r , who can check all the option in the help file of windows.

Well you can hack your computer if u really like 2 reboot it from any (machine).

There is a tool called SMBdie, which uses an exploit in all NT and some other shit...

So what it does is this:

It opens a session on port 139 (must be open) on a remote computer.
It uses a NETBIOS (COMPUTER) Name for using the exploit and targeting.

So what you need 2 do is use this program and enter the "IP ADDRESS"

While you enter the "IP ADDRESS" try (example) 2 get the COMPUTER Name (NETBIOS NAME) from your victim, you can do that by using your experiënce or just using this very smart looking and very smart hacking (Security) called application Languard Network Security Scanner, this tool really finds the exploits on any system you prefer so when you like to try out all the shit on this site that tool is E S S E N T I A L .........................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Allright got the point, can you dig it out?

It's really easy now, if u know how to read plain english you can get your enemies down at no time so when somebody tries 2 scan your system at port say 80, and your firewall which i prefer "Sygate" says he's trYing 2 connect just scan that Salla Wa B((())) and enter his (CREDENTIALS WUHAHHA) And off he goes EXPLOIT DONE $ $ $ $ $ (this exploit causes a remote buffer overlow which then causes the system 2 accidentally restart....)
