Hi,
I'm looking for the winpcap 3.0.1 silent installer. You can't download it anymore off their website, it's only available upon request. So I mailed them and here is their answer.

Due to the lack of both human and financial aid to support the development

available for free any longer for the future releases of WinPcap (including
version 3.1).
The silent installer is normally used by companies incorporating WinPcap in

On the counterpart, they will receive the binary executable of the "silent

Therefore, anyone has the silent installer(v 2.3 is also okay)? I would really appreciate it if You could post it here.

what is a silent installer and why do you need it? which advantages does it bring?

actually, this is real funny since winpcap is opensource

even more funny, the 3.0 non-gui installer is availble on their site, without even asking for it

I juts downloaded 3.0-nogui.zip . Its still available on one of their ftp mirrors .
