im looking for a commandline packetsniffer that can sniff passwords from network connections via smb. i know etheral is capable of it, but its not cmd line.

google didnt give any results

What about Windump or ettercap for Windows ? And I thought ethereal could do commandline?

I've used ethereal commandline in Linux. Just not entirely sure it does it in Windows but worth exploring. People get into habits so try not to be too hard on your friend. wink.gif

yes but there is the problem you have to install pcap ..
a commandline one for windows without the needing of pcap would be great ..
