im looking for a commandline packetsniffer that can sniff passwords from network connections via smb. i know etheral is capable of it, but its not cmd line.
google didnt give any results

Just not entirely sure it does it in Windows but worth exploring. People get into habits so try not to be too hard on your friend.
tethereal.exe does it, and it's part of the ethereal installation.
this works pretty well for me
