Full Version: Removing Ie
Does anyone know a legit way on removing IE from windows XP? How to avoide file corruption and what not. Note this is IE built in windows xp.

there is a prog in the C:\windows\. i unfortunately can't remember wut it was, but if you run it you can pass option like silent uninstall, uninstall on reboot, etc
i dont know what if done but i dont have iexplore anymore lolz, and i don't get any errors

I was thinking about doing it the way the link describes; but im itching to know how it can be completely removed from the XP partition. I have tried alot of things but many end in file corruption and errors. Im still searching
you can remove it but it has no use, because it is integrated in the explorer shell.
example: open a random map on ur winb0x and type some adress. still works :/ FLX
there is a tool called LiteXP, litepc.com i guess..... have a look at it.
If you can wait for few days..... i can manage time to find out all dll's that litexp removes to remove IE from your computer. If you have time... why don't you fire up total uninstall before removing IE with litexp and run it after reboot and let us know the difference. as easy as that dude!
