I have Win XP Pro, and I made a Virtual XP Pro to run on VMware.. But now I can't connect my system to virtual one.. I tryed everything..
Can someone post a quick guide on how to do it properly?
I wish to be able to connect to internet through host system, from Virtual system...

Use the NAT option to networking.

for accessing files, enable the magic option "Shared Folders"

I tryed NAT and every other network type, but I just don't see my computer name in Workgroup computers...
Both host and guest OS are part of "MSHOME" workgroup... I made a NAT network connection..
File sharing enabled..

It just doesn't recognise connection with Host OS... Or something else, dunno...

I have a FTP/HTTP and some more running so what I do is connect to that via the virtual machine.. for transferring files.. and using NAT always works here and is nice as you can port forward and stuff ;D

It works now.. I screwed around with VMware settings, modified some of it's Network connections, so that is why it didn't work..
I just uninstalled and reinstalled VMware and it works fine now..
