Does anyone know of a web based vulnerability scanner or any scanner that can be used on a website. e.g have a link on my site where you can login and scan your pc remotely.

am not sure but i think the ones around are customised scripts...i aint come across any..perhaps some of our programming members have some info

Writing a port scanner in PHP can be a real cumbersum task. First of all most Providers employ mechanism to watch the usage of the scripts and if you use 80% of CPU power for more than 30 seconds it kills the script. I found this out after rewriting the Munga Bunga BruteForcer in PHP w/ a PowWeb server. Your best bet would be to offer the users a sorta Java telnet session which would log them into a User account with a perl script that prompts for IP and scans.
