Heya guys, Im fixing up a pc at the moment. I have just installed a new hdd and a new power supply and it works normally up until the point I try and install windows.
The keyboard works in bios but once the windows setup starts up and says "Press enter to continue" the keyboard stops working.
Thanks in advance.

Try and see if keyboard works in any other bootable media . Try loading standard defaults configuration in bios . Or clear cmos memory and try . Maybe it works

that may not work due to while installing XP it will get the driver sets for the motherboard that you are using, and then when you swap it over to your final motherboard it will install all the new drivers and there may be conficts.

Duh, isn't it an usb keyboard? If it' s that, try a classic plug keyboard, it would work...
