Full Version: Remote Admin Like Dameware
Anyoen happen to know of a remote administrator program like dameware. but one that doesnt need Netbios to work. I dont want a Screen control. I want a behind the scenes one that can alter settings on the remote pc like DameWare
you can try Remotely Anywhere.
just read about Remotely Anywhere, seems to be a very good solution for EXPLOiTED needs.
In my case its excellent cause i don't need any client software which is maybe blocked by our company's firewall! Nice post tikbalang, will try it when i'm @ home!
off topic, just noticed tikbalang's nick
you filipino? cause tikbalang is a filipino mythical creature. Scared the shyte out of me as a child growing up in the province On topic, Radmin is my choice for remote admin cause it gives me file transfer, telnet and full control capabilities to my home comp when im on my laptop.
Definitely Radmin - but problem is that u need 2 dll files with it. Mcafee detects all 3 files as a virus so it could cause problems.
Radmin is a quite good prog, but the disadvantage is, that you need the client software. Those dlls can be morphed with morphine so no AVG would ever notice!
if you need only a commands like remote control you can use wwolf
Ehhh, this is not for hacked purposes. Its for remotely maintaining a clients computer. Therefore DameWare is the ultimate solution. All quietly interactive. Services\process\disk management\ so on.... but too bad comcast blocks 139.
Well, as already mentioned, use Remotely anywhere. Its not a hack tool.
It does allow you full control of the desktop. But it also lets you play with services/processes/ set up an ftp server, telnet server... blah blah blah, the list is quite long and Im not typing it all. And you dont need a client. Just your browser and java. http://www.remotelyanywhere.com (totally diifferent from Remote Anything)
sure, not for hacking, but it can be really annoying when every 2 mins your AVG pops up with an alert ...
Or you just exclude those files from scanning which is maybe more preferable!
yes, filipino blood here. on topic: well several incedents have reported "remotely anywhere" as part of hacking. or back dooring a system. sad to hear such a great tool used for bad things. anothere good benefits of "remotely anywhere" is remote deployment. you can use the existing installation to install to other machine on the network.
ur own edited version of radmin.
works like a dream. FLX
If it is a clients computers, and AVs arent an issue, then use radmin
can do everything dameware can do and more
i like awrc becuse it doesnt install anything take a look at it i am sure u will like it

awrc... very nice piece of software.. looks like we are gonna invest in a few licences, we currently use Carbon Copy.. but requires client install and is no where near as flexible as this bit of software...
