Full Version: Prevent Msn Messenger To Automatically Signing In
How can I prevent msn messenger to automatically signing in when started?
I need to do it stealth on a remote machine, is there any registery value I could edit?
in the options of msn messenger there is what you want
Just use regmon. Filter for just msn messenger then go into the settings(msn) and change what ever settings u want and the location of the settings will show up in regmon.
Click Start>Run type in "control userpasswords2" without the quotes. Click advanced at the top of the window that pops up. Click Manage Passwords. Then find Passport.Net , Click remove. That is the user account saved password. Once removed go into msn and that account will not be set to auto-sign in.
You'll find the regkey at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger in the binary string AppSettings. The value for automatically running MSN on start, but not to connect automatically when Internet is detected.. should be "02 86 01 00".
