Is it possible to show remote sessions in the console screen?

Remote desktop session, as far as I know, never interacts with the local user.
The only way that I know of doing that (using only XP tools) is with a remote assist.
start-> run-> mstsc /console
This will open the remote Desktop client in console mode. I have never tried it on XP tho, just 2k3. Remote assistance is the other way for XP of course. You can find it in Help and Support.
Remote Desktop by itself doesnt interact with the user. its passive..
Unless you do remote desktop by Windows Messenger selecting Remote Assistance.. its only then that you give full control to the person initiating the session. or let him have just view only access.
