Out of curiousity, which sniffers can sniff packets across a USB modem: ATM im conected to the internet using a USB modem as opposed to a network card (dont ask y - i know its stupid) and was wondering if any sniffers do it coz ethereal didn't seem to work

yep ethereal will work fine on ppp with one of the winpcap 3.1 beta drivers

i have found that 3.1 Beta 2 worked well, but had 1 app (out of many) crash in beta 3
tho ethereal works fine in beta 3
