Hi,
I am looking for a ftp client which will check if some directorys are located on the server.
F.x
server 127.0.0.1 has all directorys hidden , then i want the client to connect and read a list of directorys(out of a .txt?) and try them on the server.
Anyone knows if this exsists?
Thnx

You would need administration rights for that to work anyway wouldn't you?

im not sure how to check if the dir listing is enabled, but with ftp.exe adn a simple batch, im sure oyu would be able to make a batch to login to the ftp server and try to change dir to say /temp/ and if it does change dirs, then it exists, if it fails, then you know it doesnt exist
just an idea

Me too FlashFXP is your first Choice FTP-Client!
-heroin
the best ftp client is ultrafxp ( cf forum for the link)
very complete + mIRC notification + more options than flashfxp + langage module

try searching for a little app called pub view
its excellent for browsing hidden & locked directories
only drawback is it doesnt work on directories locked with ÿ
i havent used it for ages but i`m pretty sure grims ping will connect to an ftp and check for whatever directories you specify

pubview didnt help
but grim's ping is kinda like what i am looking for, but a option to import a .txt file with names so it will check those dirs would be nice

DarkieD i`m about 99% sure that grims ping will do that
