Anyone know of any reliable source codes written in c for an irc bot - i dont need ti scanning or anythign fancy - just to sit in a specified channel :\ - sumthing small ~100k max and isn't detected by AVs

for a bot sitting in specified channel i use bnc for windows..it is with commandline so can be installed remotely. also there are several scripts like autovoice autogreet or auto nickserv identify.

psybnc is already portet to windows
only set port and turn logging off

rxbot is a c/c++ based irc bot ,but u need the src to set up the configurations

I have rxbot, spreads pretty decent and is a worthwhile Irc bot, still a fairly private bot, almost as decent as phat is, but doesn't offer as many features, and seems to flood out when psniff is activated, but feel free to message me if you want it none-the-less.

I've had some problems getting the rxbot source workign so that it will spread, seems that the code is crippled... I cant seem to find the area that needs attention... any help?

Well.. I got rxbot compiled and everything.. but when I try to execute it on remote hosts.. nothing happens.. no bot comes on irc. : ( any suggestions on things to check?

No script kiddie, but C++/C/botnet bots aren't my strongest points. I am running it on my own PCs (have 10 pcs on my home lan) I am interested in seeing what all it does exactly. But thanks for the info anyways.

Well, I'll put in my 2 cents worth to this topic.

I don't know what you guys want to do with your botnets, but if you're up to anything that's supposed to last a bit, go the extra mile and make your own. C++ is the best language for that IMHO. I did that, it's not hard, you know what and where to look for if anything goes wrong and you can update it with features you need. It takes some more time at the beginning but the results are worth it.

I got a copy of the latest rxbot.
Not even sure where to start getting to work. Been reading up on how this bot works but havent exactly worked out exactly what stuff needs editing/modding.
Anyone able to help me out with a link to faqs or able to help me directly.

- I use spybot 1.1, it is detected but i mod it with a program called exe stealth, and after that it never gets detected and still works 100%. The file size is 28kb. It comes with encryption capabilities to protect from just hex editing. If you want the files to do this tell me and ill post links/instructions. Peace

Hey i got a new mod of rxbot here not detected and spreads nicely If you looking for sources ect.. try find someone who is a op on bottalk on rizon and ask them for axs to the ftp it has some nice sources for you ppl who cant get hold of priv sources what are modded like hell btw i will give someone a source if i can get axs to Mytob "HELLBOT" command list
