Maybe .. just maybe by decompiling it looking at the routines that are created looking for dll hooks file insertation you can understand how to create a virii alot better ..

I agree with mpr, BUT i think virii are NOT to be posted on boards like this, this board, a s you all know has alot of FXP kiddies who don't really know what they do. Letting a binary of a virus / worm in the wild on such a board is ... stupid, sorry i have no other words for it. Some of these FXP kids do have the brains, and when a worm comes in their hands, prepare the world for bad news.

Just had to add a disclaimer . Nice one Binary...some wickid uploads lately mate! Just remember to mark any future virus binary posts clearly as live...a disclaimer at the bottom of your post will suffice.

As regards the discussion on whether we should allow virus/worm binary uploads, it is my personal view (as in not GSOs view) that the day we cannot upload files of such interest and educational value as live malware binarys because they could be misused by younger, more inexperienced members is the day when we give it all up.
Those looking for source code...sure, would be nice. Lazy, but nice. Give me a choice though and I go for live binarys. More hands on!

And people can't just take the binary virus from an infected machine and use it? Trust me posting a public virus on this board is very insignificant in the greater scheme of things.

for some ppl it may be useful, to see, how this worm works, to improve their systems agains worms in the future. Others, who are just here to get the newest exploits, without any knowledge about what one of them does or how to compile any of them, in my opinion won't have any use of this worm. Why worry about them? What can they do with it that the worm doesn't do without them?

NO!!!! this is for INFORMATION!! not leaving a freaking binary open for everyone to download and play with, there is NOTHING TO LEARN! i know, it is simple to dissassemble! i would if i actually cared. as a matter of fact, i don't care at all even if someone would post the source, the point is that there is nothing to learn when all you post is the freaking binary without source... if i had a security forum and someone posted this, i would of kicked them out immediatly
