Who am I?

A 20 veteran of the U.S. Army who recently sent an email to the admin requesting an account.

My real name is Robert Rathbun, thats about enough on me.

Why am I here? I recently was hired as a Computer Security Engineer working a contractor position and I wanted to learn more about security.

What do I bring to the table? I have loads of hands on personal experience on computers and have a pretty firm technical understanding.

The other plus is I have plenty of security experience in the U.S. Army which usually means trust no one and verify everyone and everything.

Besides the anal security part I am here to have a good time, share info and learn from the people here.

If you have a security clearance I also bring an opportunity of possible jobs to the table as well.

Q. can I have a some info about SSL & SSH? when & what they used for ...

pdf, what are you asking in here for? lol

basic-
SSH encrypts all information passed between you and the remote computer
SSL encrypts information sent on websites (https:// protocol)
so exploits with these ^ can lead to be a big deal
