Outlook 2002/2003 Attachment Security Unlock Applet

Outlook 2002 includes a new security feature that blocks attachments considered unsafe. If you receive an e-mail message that contains one of the blocked file types, you may see the following warning message:
Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments: [...]
Although access to the attachment has been blocked, the attachment still exists in the message.
The article goes on to explain how to manipulate the registry to allow access to these attachments.
This applet does that for you.

I use outlook all the time... Works great for me...
But I can't really see the use of this applet...
If you just install a decent Antivirus scanner, you're safe...

or at least safe to the known viruses. Might be a good add-on for the paranoid people... smile.gif

You have to reread the post again ^RB^ . You'd never got any attachments like .vbs or .scr before. I'm using an Outlook for couple years already,and I got different types of attachments. What can I say it is very useful tool, not only for

i mailed those people (snail mail) to encrpyt that stupid address book already so these stupid worms won't spread.... ignorant a-holes....
