blackP0ster
hiho!

since i have a new router, i cannot connect to many servers (serv-u running) cause i get a "list error"
i use flashfxp, but with other ftp-progs, i cannot connect neither!

i think that the router is the problem..!
does anybody know how to solve that problem?

Have you checked to see if the global setting for "passive" is checked?

If not, tick that box.

Options\Pref...\[Proxy/firewall/ident]

proxy as none, but tick "passive"
Nova
in quick connect, then toggles, tick the box Server uses IP MASQ

try that, should work

both tips were already said..an don't work yet wink.gif

Jep on some servers i really experience the exact problem. A help would maybe be to set your pc temporarily as DMZ, i think last time i did that it worked for me...
fandango
- Open a data port range on the router for flash (ie 5000-6000)
- check 'Bind sockets to adress' and enter your external(wan, inet) IP
- check 'Limit Local port range' to 5000-6000
- connect

have fun ...

ok, this might sound like a bad advice, but why not switch FXP clients?
I had some problems logging in to some server with FFXP, and then I made the switch to UltraFXP. Never had a problem ever again...

Just a friendly suggestion... Nothing more... tongue.gif
