Full Version: Proxy Server Over Lan
ganz2
Is it possible to setup a proxy server on a LAN and be able to use it on other computers than are not in the LAN? And how is this done by reverse connection?

Not really sure what you mean, but if I'm reading this right, it should be possible... tongue.gif

afaik you want to connect through a proxy that's running on your LAN...
well, just install proxyplus, or any other freeware app on the comp you want to connect through, setup an account, and you're set...
I used to have winroute pro, I've tried Proxy+, but now I don't see the need of it anymore since I use a router...

I hope this helped ya a bit... smile.gif

Well basically, a certain computer on a LAN has access to a webpage (due to its ip) and I need to be able to setup a proxy on it so other computers(not in LAN) can access this page.
