Is there a cmd that i can use with SQLBROWSER that gives me back axxes to the xp_cmdshell i tryed dropping thew old and making a new one but that doesn`t work! Anyone have an idea?

Yes u can do but try to describe the problem more detailed with this informationes u only can get generic answers.

There is also another method on this forum in which is explained how to by pas the xp_cmdshell, only the user you using needs to have exec rights.

i know the way to bypass but i want to restore the xp_cmdshell cause there is no ftp.exe on the server and i have to use a http script with " in it and SQL Browser doesn`t accept " or am i wrong? i tried to restore the xp_cmdshell the way u said br0mstar but wenn i know use sqlexec with green apple and make dir c:\ i don't get any results just a PLING an an empty line

storm use the boards search funktion. every thread you start it worth nothing because it was talked about 100 times. how many tuts have been posted regardning enable xp_cmdshell, writing your own procedur and more.
that tut isn't even old you won't have a problem to find it.
100 sql threads here all regarding the same thing gets kinda boring doesn't it?

I know the other threads and i can make a own procedure etc. but the problem is i dropped the old xp_cmdshell caus it had the error and know I`m searchin for a way to restore the original xp_cmdshell without the SQL_ERROR with the sqlbrowser cause osql doesn`t work on my pc!
