Ok, so I portscan for other computers, and I connect to them throught telnet, what do I do now? All I am doin is watching this blank Telnet screen..

What am I supposed to to their? A different site said to scan ports and acsess them, but what do I do after I have acessed it?

Most of the time you are attaching to other ports beside port 23 with telnet to grab the service banners and see what version of the service they are running.

Check out Newbie tutorials Check this out.When i first started i used to just use telnet for making fake e-mail's and port scan various IP ranges trying to work out what O/S they where and what weakness each open port had. Telnet to each open port and press enter to read the service banners
