hi there
i got the new xscan version 3 and like to add some features.i heard of the abillity to add some plugins .it would be nice to scan for some more vulnearbillities.
so i tried google but it didn`t give me a good results.
does anyone know here a good site for plugins or has some?

Try www.xfocus.org I think thee is some plugins but i'm not shure..

you download ver5. I think it has RPC2 scan, and WKss exploit scan, but you won't find anything else on the net.. I looked. Only thing you can do is compile your own using example .c file included in program package.

i only have the ms03_49 plugin and searched a lot for others, but i haven`t found anything

use *.nasl scripts from nessus
http://www.nessus.org/scripts.php There you will find RPC, WebDav etc scripts (not plugins)

has anoyone had problems with winpcap 3.1 and or xscan3beta6b rebooting on some ( nasl? ) scripts? ...enquiring minds want to know

try a different scanner i guess. the best way is to use seperate scanners for seperate vulnerabilities.

OK for the first question..." asking about scripts" there is an update you can select from the X-scan GUI, It will take a year or so to download the scripts but it dose work. Next someone asked about WinPcap 3.1, yea there is a few issues with 3.1 so go download Cain & Able (www.oxid.it) it comes with WinPcap 3.0 and it works fine on Win2K and XP. X-scan has good forums to ask for help and they respond fast. Good luck!!!

far as i know there are some other scripts available for x-scan but there private
, most plugins are coded by other hackers.
