Dissolutions,
I thought about purchasing that when I was starting C but got the "C in 21 days" instead.
While Im finding it an excellent book to learn from, would I have been better to start with the "24 hours" tutorial first?

C in 21 days seems to cover more information than C in 24 hours I've only browsed through the 21 Days book at a local bookstore. So I can't really say much about it but C in 21 days seems to go far more extensive than 24 hours.
I mean essentially the 24 hours book it was a start learening right away type book from the 2nd or 3rd chapoter on... which is good for people with past programming experience. 21 Days i see to have gathered that they really take you on a nice curve teaching you the basics of programming and what not.

It's especially good for c/c++ programmers. The board on there is a lot more helpful with that type of programming than this one. The traffic there is pretty heavy to so a quick resonse is almost always certain.

Learn C++, It can do anything C can and more.
Get yourself a copy of SAMS Teach Yourself C++ in 21 Days, it's one of the best books there is.

Sams in 21 days is good. But I would highly recommend getting deitel&deitel's fourth edition. The price is very steep but the knowledge is worth it!
