I was hacked recently(stupid but i learnt my lesson

), but what was strange was the guy was using version 2.5.4.2 and the hash was NOT an MD5 hash like it usually is:

[USER=Upload]
Password=ywFzOdgQG26ic

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify which cipher this is

Ah, I believe its DES - sorry i decided to go wwith a hunch and check using jtr

nice try - thats for the newer breed of serv-u hashes whcich are MD5 not DES

It the same encrypts that old linux used. If you looking to crack it, try "jack the ripper"

can someone please try to crack these??? please?
i tried like 20 programs, but still nothing...
