delete the file "c:\winnt\system32\net.exe"
but before that you must kill the file (try using getad.exe)

Deleting net.exe will cause other net commands not to work example net share, net view...

you can copy it first to another dir , rename it and then delete it. so if you need sth later you can restart it

You also need to remember that windows file protection will regenerate the
net.exe from the i386 or dllcache in win2k / winxp os. Therefore u need to delete it from those sources too. Google for prog to disable file protection its on the web. Btw removing net command wont prevent people from stopping services that can b done with other progs and files found on the os or in service packs. Eg
sc etc

sure but when you stop also "ftp.exe" and "tftp.exe" you can't upload your 'start
services' files

(external files)
also you can edit "autoexec.bat" every time windows starts it will delete or rename the "net, ftp, tftp" files
or just use the "srvany.exe","delay.exe" to delete files every some minutes and install it as a service file

Indeed, but i still don't get why there is a net1.exe? cuz i does exactly the same as net.exe.
But you if u want to disable net.exe and net1.exe you can search this forum, cuz there is a topic which explains exactluy how to do that, so even though someone manages to tranfer a new net.exe it will be useless.
(i not 100 % sure it was on this forum)
