the install file go on c:\winnt\system32 or c:\windows\system32

remove mydoom and close the port for all time (for rehack or shit)

Decided to try this thing out on my test system...just for kicks. The file systemp.exe copies itself over as svchosts.exe to c:\winnt\system32
IT then listens on :

1888 svchosts -> 4342 TCP C:\winnt\system32\svchosts.exe

1888 svchosts -> 4506 UDP C:\winnt\system32\svchosts.exe


Now why would a securing app need to listen on a port?


Not sure what it listens for...doesn't spawn a cmd.exe on connect, might need a client app to connect. The virus scan didn't pick it up...Not only are u stupid enough try to infect people who have scripts that will catch an infection as it happens u're coding sucks as well. It installed itself to winnt...even though I have c:\Windows\System32. Couldn't code a proper path function?

just to add in, why would we need dwmrcs.exe to patch my doom, it certainly doesnt help removing it, and it certainly doesnt block a port
