Hello,
i'm on a remote computer and i try to upload ioftpd.ini, it's impossible.
I have killed viruscan, i have disable services, i have no applications from Program Files, no suspect .exe, no hidden processes, no hidden file, no rootkit.
No suspect program in Program files...

When i do on a new directory :
echo (filtered)>toto.ini it works
echo (filtered)>ioftpd.ini it fails
copy toto.ini ioftpd.ini it fails

rename ioftpd.ini (original file from ioftpd.com) to ioblah.ini
upload ioblah.ini it fails.

Any idea ?

1) check your privledges

2)theres more than 1 way to put that file there :-)
(tftp, ftp, htmlupload, asp upload, GET, even nc.exe supports file transfer)

3) check its not a honeypotnet :-)

ive seen some brilliant ones, fooling you but you cannot write to the drive
dmg
How about rename ioFTPD.ini to toto.ini and then upload?

Very strange though sad.gif
