I found the prob new question.........

Is there any difference in code for different compiles like

Bloodshed to Borland c++ compiler and so on..

Will all c++ code compile in all the different compilers

Like if i get a code from ahh freecode.com

Do i have to mod it to run in different compilers

Hi,

i think different compiler has different settings. So it might be difficult. Some code may compile on certain compilers and not others due to the settings.

i would recommend visual c++ by microsoft. it's really easier.

If you want to get the best calculation performance, You should use this compiler. I made compiled programs 10% faster than with Intel C++ Compiler (I love free tools ) (with all optimisation Dev-C++ is about 100 times faster than borland).
Check it out with this program compiled with 3 different compiler (all possible optimizations). It makes a quite simple calculation (it took about 64 seconds with borland or lcc-win and 0.64 sec on a P4 Willamette @ 2Ghz)
