yes nothing special...

p4000 it is ra (Remote-Anything)

yes, by default Remote-Anything uses port 4000
it uses 5 ports to connect and control the other pc.

i have always thought about using this program to remote control victim PC, if u could be sure that noone was infront of it while your controlling it.

becouse basically all u have to do it - upload the "slave" function to victim PC, execute the slave file remotely - then connect to it with the "master".

seems very easy (aslong as these 5 porst are open on victim PC), u can even disable the tray and log function before u upload the "slave" to victim..

if anyone tried this way, or know anything more about it - plzz let me know

yes jead99, that topic is about exploiting the remote-anything when someone uses it.

I'm talking about using it to begin with.

Upload the "slave" for remote-anything and gaining access the to victim computer that way..

not even sure it's possible though, but it sound easy

Yeah sure its easy, but you have to have a way to get the file there, and execute the file. Once thats done though, its simple.

Remote anything doesn't require 5 connections to remotely administer a another PC. It usually uses port 4000 for authentication and screen capture/update data, and port 3999 for file transfers. I havn't known remote anything to use more than 2 ports at once. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You can also change the settings of the Remote Anything server by installing it on your own computer and compiling a custom slave from the options of the systray icon. Cool huh

Remote computer firewalled? Easy. Scan it for open ports, shut down a service that listens on an open port, customise your R'Anything server to listen on that port and bob's your uncle. Ownage.

Remote Anywhere is scanned because the shareware version has a default trial login/pass. Install RA client and you can connect to all RA shareware servers.

Scan for P4000 and run the results trough a banner scan to filter out RA's.

This info is old though.... Woudn't spend too much time on it.
