with Jacheck.ini and Jacheck.dll only need to have them in the same dir with your serv-u and add this to your ini below the last user for versions 4.0 and higher

I use JAcheck & I think it's good. Example. You can set it only to check the SFV's when upload it's complete, not when it's pending.

Was looking for something along these lines for my own server instead of manually doing it each time. The question is now is Serv-U required to be the FTP server?

it's a way to check if the rar files for a release is good...
sometimes there can be CRC errors in some rar-files, and the sfv-checker will detect and report this.
a good and complese sed of rars could be displyed like this by a sfv-checker
-[100%]--[All-files-CRC-OK]--[49-files]--[

mate i dont see what is ur problem..
first u load the SFV file so the Jacheck will recognize how much files it need to wait to be uploaded/FXPed.
and on each file it raiseing the Precents and chagning the directory like u showed..
and maybe try leave only the c:\FTPROOT, d:\FTPROOT
cuz Jacheck checks also Subdir..

SnaK3, i think the problem is in your path for temporary crc file jacheck is using. Try to change this line:
CODE
tempcrcpath=c:\windows\fonts
to for example:
CODE
tempcrcpath=c:\FTProot\crc
(in servu a proper set of dir attribs will hide this folder from ppl's accessing your pub - of course first make such a dir

)
or you may just use
this setting will store temo crc files in upload dir - personaly i prefer this one.
ahhh and change this:
to 0 - this won't leave temporary files after upload is completed - they aren't needed anymore.
