Full Version: Source Code Database
vnet576
Does anybody use or heard of a tool that can archive source code. I have many samples of C/C++ code but keeping it all in a folder is not a very efficient way of storing or searching for it. I've seen tools that do this for VB forms and code, but I need something like that for C. If anyone can suggest something lemme know. wink.gif

i think u can use a software thingie called CVS. or visual sourcesafe. CVS is free. it has versioning control and bla bla bla bla and not that hard to use. check it out at http://www.cvshome.org , well if you have money u can try visual sourcesafe from microsoft. however if you donj't not need anything that is so advance. u can just simply to a database system that stores the source code in text
