Hey i recently hacked a few servers that are connected to a lan or seomthing, when i try to connect to my serv-u running on the machine, (with fash FXP) it says like :
TYPE A
200 Type set to A.
PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (10,160,189,154,12,166)
Data Socket Error: Connection timed out
And if i connect to a regular one it says:
227 Entering Passive Mode (x,x,x,x,5,244)
LIST
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.
226 Transfer complete.
Anyway i can get past this, please respon (i did a few searches which came up with nothing, sorry if this is in another post) but i really wanna know :>
After reading my post, i saw i was using passive mode, this si what i get with apssive mode off:
200 Type set to A.
PORT 192,168,1,2,14,26
200 PORT Command successful.
LIST
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.
426 Data connection closed, transfer aborted.
Any help is welcomed, thx.

I hope the FTP Server's are your server dude ;D
Ok . There are some posibillities :
1. Use Passive Mode @ Client and switch passive mode in your FTP Daemon on
2. I think the FTP Daemon is not good configured .
I don't know what Server you use . But if your Server have a option to define the IP of the Server , use it . Because the server listen on the Lan IP and on the Ip from the provider . So it try to send list command back to you with the wrong net ...
hehe kk , if youre FTPDaemon don't support this , take a portforwarder like rinetd or Fpipe . Forward the inboundport to your local ftp server port and back to a open outbound port and connect via passive .

me tooo i have a probleme similar i hackde lan server but whe i try connect on it's does'nt work.
when i do ipconfig/all
and the ip is like that :10.10.1.2 or 192.168.0.1 but it's doesn't work for me but
when ip is of style (not lan): 86.196.25.15 it's works very well
then i would like know how do u do with the lan to put my server in mode run.
However i use the tool fpipe it's work me at home but when i up on the target hacked it's doesn't work
(but its doesn't work when i put on the server lan hacked)
fpipe -v -l 4234 -r 5190 172.16.1.11

im guessing its because those ftp servers are binded to their external ip, not their internal network ip.

fpipe looks like a nice tunnel program.. Thanks a lot for sharing it

Try switching off passive mode in you ftp client. Haven't used FlashFXP, but on most command line ftp client, it's done by typing "passive" (or abbreviated version of passive) It could be a configuration difference between the LAN side of your router and the WAN side that is causing the difference.

depending on where your trying to hack, the 10.x.x.x IP is correct but is behind a firewall. The 192.x.x.x number is fake. It's the same way at my school. I can hack as long as im on another computer on the same server, but i i try to hack a comp from my house, i hit the firewall.

man thats the solution of your problem :
in Flashfxp, on Quick Connect, go to Toggles and check "bypass proxy server for this connection" and "Site uses ip masq/NAT/Non-Routable IP"
then connect.. now it will work

if you have a firewall try turning that of and try turning passive mode off at the same time...
that worked for me

Well probably the serv-u is using a passive port range the router of your remote server blocks, thats why passive mode isnt working.
To configure your serv-u correctly, connect to your serv-u via the admin-console and go to Settings>Advanced. There you can define the PASV mode range. To find open ports the firewall forwards, make a portscan on that pc for example. Then just enter the open (forwarded) ports there.
This way it worked for me some times...

u need to do this in servu manager to connect without problem:
in DOMAINS go to SETTINGS - ADVANCED - in ALLOW PASSIVE MODE DATA TRANSFER USE IP there u must put the ip of the server.
thats all now u can connect with flashfxp without problem.
hope this fix your problem

Those ip address look like NAT address. there is more than likely two cards in the box and one card has a NAT address and one card has an internal. If the box is in a DMZ you will just see the NAT. To see the internal IP you need to come from inside the network.

Hi,
i got a server... But it has a Router.
My Servu runs on port 5631. I can connect, but data socket error: connection refused. I tried everything but didnt work...
I switched off passive mode in my client...
I configured the PASV mode range...
I have done that thing with Domain1=0.0.0.0 ...
but didnt work.
My last chance is fpipe.
How should I run this On the Server?
Servu runs on Port 5631
Server ip: 211.2.42.3
Router ip: 192.168.7.108
Can anyone help me ?

think you have to get to that router and forward a few port
fpipe is a port redirector no point redirecting ports if router is blocking them

Maybe someone can compile the code of www.whatismyip.com to a tool. We can al use this one for checking these strange kinds of blocked ip's.
