I have a proposition: write deamon witch will work at any shell and will create a net of proxys. Then it will forward any request created by orginal computer to other proxy deamons and when it will reach N proxy server it will connect to the site/server requested. I know that this will be slow but it will make any trace process too hard to go on. Ohh and one more thing make this proxys non-transparent.

I know that this is dificult to make and that you are newbe at unix/linux but if you want you can do it. View RFC, buy couple of beers and make a lot of coffe biggrin.gif

If you do this then send me a message at mistyk@kgb.pl I would be very greatfull if you can send me the final version (becouse I need this kind of protection and I don't have time to write it by myself sad.gif )

I am really totally confused at which the direction you are heading here. What is it you are trying to get at? What is the purpose here?

Develop a new kernel implementing Real Time structures, or an LKM that had not performance penalty againt a static system, or a stable module to write NTFS ;P...
That should be really usefull for the community biggrin.gif

PD: My last project in linux was a proggie to hide users logged in, or to change their names with anything you input. And its normal execution was to act like "who" command. (It's kindda stupid, but i felt interested on the subject)

If yur not familiar with linux then just create a DNS server on a 10 ip subnet. Practice binding the forward and reverse together and creating all the proper zone files. For a newbie that should be fun. Its still fun for me. To some it may be too simple but for a newbie, it should be a fun challenge creating sumbdomains, making everything work properly etc. Do it on a VLAN tho so it wont conflict with real world domains incase you create something like Microcrap.com. I choose 10 ips because i noticed that some of my classmates have a difficult time trying to create a subnet mask for a smaller number of ips without a calculator, so it may help in weak spots if it is same in other locations.

its just an idea.
