Ettercap 0.6.b is a network sniffer/interceptor/logger for switched LANs. It uses ARP poisoning and the man-in-the-middle technique to sniff all the connections between two hosts. Features character injection in an established connection - you can inject characters to server (emulating commands) or to client (emulating replies) while maintaining an established TCP connection! Integrated into a easy-to-use and powerful ncurses interface. Screenshots here. RPM available here. Tested on Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD 1.5, Mac OS X, Windows NT/2000/XP, and Solaris 2.x. Changes: Plugins now work with the GTK+ interface. The passive OS fingerprint database was updated (1200+ entries). A lot of bugs were fixed in order to have a stable release while development is focused on ettercap NG (0.7.0). The list of fixes includes: Internal refreshing (for huge traffic loads), the wifi-dump support, doppleganger re-arp on shutdown, a problem with signed char under Mac G3, and some possible buffer overflows in the ncurses interface.
Note: You will need Uharc to Decompress this one also.
Enjoy!
