Windows XP Pro? I was trying to the other day but I can't seem to get anything to work... and actually the other day a teacher was logged in with admin rights and he left and I went to go take a look.. well when I tried to add a new admin or edit someone elses account to admin (so it wasn't obvious that I was the one doing this) I had to go through a list of domains to choose from and stuff and it was real confusing.. so actually two questions..

1) Is there a local exploit I can use to gain administrative rights on the domain that my account is on? and

2) If a chance ever comes up again that I can login with administrative rights how can I add or edit an account to have administrative rights?

It was just sort of confusing me cause it was a network..there's a domain for users.. a domain for teachers and then some computers have other domains and shit.. i got all lost...thanks..

why didn'y you make yourself a global admin all domains so you can choose.. staff is most likely for the staff files to be transfered around like who's absent etc.. student etc will be for the students and soemtimes you have game domains etc..
Read up on windows NT or whatever OS it is.. and learn howto do it

Do you really think this will create a domain admin accts if ran on a "normal" box ?
That wont even create a local admin acct much less a domain admin.

Sorry

Same question, over and over...

Do a little research before posting

"How to add users"
"how to add users command line"
"privilege elevation"

You shouldn't be trying to do something when you're not even certain how to do the most basic tasks of user administration. You'll likely get caught.

yes you have to have either Admin or system priviledges before you can add accounts.. Domain admins for adding to the network domain..

For the first poster, mate there has been so many M$ exploits in the past few mon ths.. Have a look around in the file download area an run a few on your local...

If you add an admin account to the local computer then you will only be able to login with it on 'that' computer and no others. If you want unrestricted access to any of the computers then you need to add it to the domains administrative group.

net user Admin [password] /add
net localgroup administrators Admin /add
net localgroup administrators Admin /add /domain [domain name]

If you want to find out what domains are available to add it to then click the domain dropdown list at the logon screen. The commands above will be processed at the domain controller for the domain specified but if the credentials of the current logged on user (Administrator) are not currently on a domain that you want to add it to then you will get an access denied error message.

Try that and u should get full axx...and 100% attendance ph34r.gif

Thanks for the non-smart ass reply.. yea i knew about adding another user through cmd but isn't that more noticeable than just changing a normal user account to a administrator..adding a whole new account that is.. and when i did try to add a new user to a domain i got an error about the domain not being found..as for tolf yea i looked around but everything i come across is for w2k so far..except for the workstation exploit
