I looked over about 6 of them which is a small sample size but do have a concluesion on some of them at least.
They are very dated and don't contain newer technologies or changes within the past couple years or so. For a new user they are a good and free basic primer of which todays technologies are built on or improved from. Decent newbie/cheapie source.
