can anyone tell me commands in a windows remote root shell to shut down/disable norton internet security or other desktop firewalls ?

p.s. does anybody know a ack-cmd like the one from ntsecurity.com but with ack ftp and more....

hm just do a 'net start' - will bring up a list of runnin services

type net stop "Service Name"

can can use the " either side of the full name but I was wondering is there a way to get the abbreviated name like net start serv-u and not have to do net start "serv-u ftp server" ???

and what about the ack shell, anyone got a good one ?
