hi...
i´m trying to hack a sql server....but everytime i get to "ftp -i -n -v -s:c:\skript.txt"
it always says i´m not connected!i installed a Bulletproof homeftp where i put my servu´s in...but the sybol always stays yellow...its gotta turn green though...
Could it be that i cant hack with a router??or do i have to open up some ports?and if...which ones??i got a longshine router...can somebody maybe help me out?
thx

don't user ur home ftp 2 upload data, just upload ur servu or whatever 2 a tripod (or another free webspace with ftp access). u can also scan for pubs and upload ur data there.

But if ya wanna upload the files from ya home-ftp though, u have to forward the port the bulletproof runs on...

forward port 69 UCP & TCP to your NIC for TFTP (I know its not tftp, but thought I would add that anyway)
setup passive mode BFTP, and port forward a range to use. Within bullet, enter this as the start and end range.

Although, yes, you really really really should use a remote FTP server as your account to retrieve the files.
1, it will probably be faster,
2, its safer (less traces) if you can not delete files in use etc
3, it will bypass your router issues.

U should turn ur DMZ-Host on if u really wanna use ur home-ftp...

Disabling DMZ will forward all ports to your NIC, so you dont want to do that.
