I think your asking how to find your own Proxy's ??
Get a port scanner and then scan for selected port's and then use a proxy judge to test how good they are.

Usual Proxy ports:

8080 http proxies
1080 socks 4/5 proxies.

I looked through the proxy forum and didn't see any how to's on searching for open proxies myself. Also did a search and found references to other sites for info but not here. Is there a post on how to create or search for open proxies on Win box? I never liked using other peoples lists because I don't know the quality that when into it.

I'm trying to do some IDS testing but need to know the quality of the proxies to determine the effectivness of the IDS which apps like Proxyrama don't give you. So if I can create my own via cmd line or another simplistic way, I'll know more of what is behind the list and its effectivness or lack of. I don't need long lists, just short and concise is fine.
